Tired of you metal legs wearing through you rubber chair tips?

Are you tired of you metal legs wearing through your Rubber Chair and Table Tips”?  If you are having this problem, then I might have a few solutions.   The first solution is to put a “Metal Round Chair Tips” inside the hollow leg, more specifically the Tube Caps, which come in 5/8″ to 1-1/8″ diameters.  Having the metal leg covered with a smooth end cap, the leg will have a harder time wearing through the rubber chair or table tip.   I show an image of the Metal Round Chair Tip, Tube Cap below.   The second solution is similar to the first, but instead of a metal cap, you would use a plastic cap.  The Plastic caps are shown on this section of our website, “Plastic Round Chair Tips – Table Glides and Feet” Again, having the metal leg covered with a smooth end cap, the leg will have a harder time wearing through the rubber chair or table tip.  I show a image of the Plastic Round Chair Tip below.  The third solution is to put a metal washer in the bottom of the “Rubber Chair and Table Tips”.  This way the metal leg will be resting on the metal washer, instead of the softer rubber.  We do not have the washers in stock, but they can be purchased at any hardware store.  We stock a Rubber Chair and Table Tips, made by Sico, that has a washer in it.  It is for a 1″outside diameter leg.  You can view this at “Sico Rubber Table Glide”

Plastic Chair Feet - Round Leg

The above image is of the Plastic Chair Tip. By putting this on your leg first, the metal leg will have a larger surface area so it will not punch through the Rubber Chair Feet.

Metal Round Chair Tip - Tabe Tip

The above image is of the Round Tube Cap. By putting this on the end of your chair or table leg before you put the Rubber Chair Feet on, the weight will be spread over the entire bottom of the Rubber Chair Tip, preventing it from wearing through so quickly.
